PwC is seeking a Manager for their Income Franchise practice within their State and Local Tax (SALT) services. This role offers the opportunity to help clients navigate complex business issues related to tax laws and communicate local tax developments. The Manager will work with a team to assess and recommend solutions for clients' state and local tax burdens, as well as develop strategies to stay ahead of and manage these burdens.

- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials
- Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science preferred
- Thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws
- Technical skills in FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, tax base rules, tax research, compliance, and consulting
- Experience with client relationship building and community involvement
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Experience with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
