A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, participating in court hearings and trials, negotiating settlements, and assisting with the discovery process.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, memoranda, agreements, and briefs
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings and trials
• Assist with negotiating settlements on behalf of clients
• Assist with the discovery process and other case-specific tasks

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Exceptional research and writing skills
• Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
• Experience with Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw research platforms
• Ability to litigate cases effectively in court
• Strong demonstrated problem-solving ability for complex issues and negotiation skills
• Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation
