Duties:

  • Conduct regulatory analysis and provide policy advising related to the Medicaid program.
  • Support projects aimed at enhancing access to affordable, high-quality health care services.
  • Engage with all facets of the firm's multidisciplinary practice.
  • Provide written and verbal communication to legal and lay audiences on regulatory analysis and policy matters.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of health care regulatory experience, including coverage and reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated experience in Medicaid issues such as coverage, reimbursement, managed care delivery systems, or section 1115 demonstration projects.
  • Strong interest in and willingness to learn about Medicaid, particularly regarding the federal Administrative Procedure Act.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and legal research abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently.
  • Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Regulatory analysis and policy advising related to Medicaid.
