Job Overview: A law firm specializing in intellectual property litigation seeks a highly qualified Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. Duties:

  • Represent clients in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience as a Litigation Associate Attorney.
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (preferred).
  • Additional admission to the bar in MI, MO, VA, and/or TX (ideal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent written communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (preferred).
