Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative agencies.
  • Attend depositions, mediations, and other case-related meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and electronic records.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Workers' Compensation defense.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic document management systems.
  • Familiarity with legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
