Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial real estate transactions, leasing, acquisitions, and sales, with the ability to lead complex negotiations and manage a team effectively.

Job Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft various leases, including retail, office, ground leases, mixed-use developments, and licenses from Landlord and Tenant perspectives.
  • Prepare property acquisition and sale documents such as letters of intent, purchase and sales agreements, deeds, and authority documents.
  • Draft easements, CCRs, restrictive covenants, and similar documents encumbering title.
  • Draft condominium documents and coordinate their execution.
  • Manage the review, preparation, and management of commercial leasing and acquisition/sale documentation.
  • Review and oversee Purchase and Sale Agreements, due diligence, title objections, survey and environmental reviews, closing documents, and wire transfers.
  • Conducted closings, reviewed settlement statements, and completed post-closing documentation and administration.
  • Draft and review complex operating agreements, bylaws, shareholders’ agreements, master service and service level agreements, private placement memorandums, indemnity agreements, and other client contracts.
  • Handle correspondence on behalf of landlords regarding claims, defenses, and disputes arising under lease agreements.
  • Maintain organized client files and led a team of attorneys in developing transaction documents for portfolio transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitor and calendar deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Experience negotiating, documenting, and closing financing transactions is advantageous.
  • The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business with at least $200,000.

  • 8+ years of continuous, specific, and verifiable experience in a large law firm.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, court procedures, forms, deadlines, filing requirements, and portals.
  • Ability to organize factual and legal data into clear and logical arguments.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Licensed to practice law in FL and good standing.
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
