Henderson office of our client seeks a family law attorney ideally with family law practice experience. The candidate will work directly with the paralegals assigned to the cases. Manage cases with the help of the paralegal. Meet often with the paralegal to keep tasks on track and ensure the case is moving forward. Draft orders, correspondence to opposing counsel and parties, discovery requests and responses, motions, oppositions, pre-trial memorandums, initial pleadings, marital settlement agreements, etc. Attend court hearings on all family law-related motions. Conduct in-office voluntary settlement conferences, typically with all parties and counsel present. Conduct legal research. Manage family law cases from start to finish. Manage cases from complaint/petition through final decree/judgment. Speak directly with clients, either in-person, on the phone, or through the cloud-based client portal. Attend trials as either a first-chair or second-chair, depending on experience. Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada.
