The successful candidate will initially be hired as an employee of GuideOne Insurance Company and automatically become an employee of TMG on the company's official transition date. Job Title: Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster Job Description: As a Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing claims for our members. This includes handling a variety of commercial liability claims, such as general liability, director's & officer liability, employment practices liability, and more. You will investigate coverage and cause of loss, evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate documentation. Responsibilities: - Process commercial liability claims, including general liability, director's & officer liability, and more - Investigate coverage and cause of loss - Evaluate claims and negotiate settlements - Maintain accurate documentation and diary system - Recognize and pursue recovery opportunities - Assign and supervise field examiners and vendor resources - Assume additional duties as needed Required Qualifications: - 5 or more years of experience in handling commercial liability claims - Strong understanding of coverage, policy interpretation, exposure recognition, and liability determination - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Skilled negotiator - Willingness to travel periodically Recommended Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred - Claims handling license in New York, Florida, or Texas preferred - Proficient in Microsoft applications - Strong communication skills, both written and oral Compensation: - $58,500 - $97,500 per year, commensurate with experience - $64,500 - $107,500 per year, commensurate with experience (in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA) - Bonus eligibility Benefits: - Competitive salary and incentive plans - 401(K) retirement plan with company match - Free basic life and AD&D, long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance - Medical, dental, and vision plans - Wellness incentives - Generous time off program, including personal, holiday, and volunteer paid time off - Flexible work schedules and remote options for eligible positions - Educational assistance Join the GuideOne Insurance team and be a part of a company that values integrity, respect, and service.
