A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Code Enforcement Attorney for their Riverside office. The attorney will primarily handle code enforcement and gun confiscation cases for municipal clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and be licensed in California. Experience in public safety matters, as well as civil and criminal prosecution, is advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • Represent municipal clients in code enforcement cases.
  • Handle gun confiscation cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to municipal clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California.
  • 3-5 years of legal experience.
  • Experience in public safety matters preferred.
  • Experience in civil and criminal prosecution is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in California.
