Job Overview:

The Bankruptcy Associate Attorney will primarily focus on representing first and second-lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and other creditors in contested . and multinational insolvencies, restructurings, and bankruptcies. They will handle multidisciplinary cross-border deals and appear before trial and appellate courts in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 matters.

Duties:

• Represent first and second-lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and other creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• Act in contested . and multinational insolvencies, restructurings, and bankruptcies.
• Handle multidisciplinary cross-border deals.
• Appear before trial and appellate courts in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring.
• Substantive experience representing creditors, investors, distressed companies, and other stakeholders in large-scale, complex . and cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Experience in a large law firm setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:
