The ideal candidate will possess expertise in investments, particularly in the formation of domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. Additionally, experience with secondary transactions and structuring separately managed accounts is highly desirable. Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support in the formation of domestic and international investment funds.
• Assist in secondary transactions and structuring separately managed accounts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on investment fund regulations and compliance matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including fund formation agreements and offering memoranda.
• Collaborate with clients, lawyers, and business professionals to ensure legal requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to investment fund matters.

Requirements:

• . degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Illinois.
• 3-6 years of experience in investment funds law.
• Prior experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC is preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
