Position Summary:

As a Tax – Transformation Senior at Deloitte, you will be part of the Tax Transformation Office team focused on transforming client service delivery in order to provide efficient, high value, and quality service to our clients. This role requires knowledge of professional services and the end-to-end tax compliance engagement life cycle, as well as the ability to collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, spanning across multiple Business Threads, including tax compliance and advisory service delivery for various industries, and will play a key role in driving adoption through change management and communication. Responsibilities:

- Apply agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design
- Collaborate with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvement
- Decompose business requirements
- Collaborate throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
- Conduct user testing
- Conduct business readiness assessments
- Prepare learning delivery and materials
- Drive adoption through change management and communication
- Analyze feedback and develop related action plans
- Decommission legacy systems
- Manage projects

The Team:

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for defining delivery standards and processes to support the delivery of Tax services, as well as the development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. The team consists of professionals with varying backgrounds, including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 3+ years of client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance related areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flow-Throughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle
- Active accreditation, in process, or willing and able to obtain one of the following:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Technology Certifications

Preferred:

- 3+ years of digital transformation experience
- Agile delivery and design thinking experience
- Business process analysis and design experience
- End-to-end technology project delivery
- Training delivery and post-production client facing support experience
- Strong focus on deployment, adoption and driving change
- Assist in the development of a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms
- Experience in defining delivery standards
- Agile or PMP certification
- Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
- Process-driven thinking

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,500 to $77,070.
