PwC, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PTPA Manager to join our internal Finance team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of financial functions, including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and overall strategy development, while providing tax compliance and planning guidance to our partners and principals.

As a Manager, you will work collaboratively with a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues, using your expertise to develop recommendations and solutions. The Partner Tax Preparation Advisors (PTPA) team is a national team of dedicated tax professionals who provide tax compliance and planning guidance to the owners of PwC, both Partners and Principals, across the US. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a network of internal stakeholders and external resources to meet the needs of our client-base and provide top-notch service.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize your understanding of Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, Schedules A,B,C,D, E and year end planning to provide tax compliance and planning guidance to our partners and principals.
- Manage and perform individual tax compliance/reviews and planning for executives, preferably for a global network of professional services firms.
- Leverage firm-issued technologies to efficiently and effectively complete tasks.
- Identify and address client tax issues and direct them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships at the executive level.
- Lead and collaborate with team members virtually, ensuring work/life balance.
- Coach and provide feedback to staff.
- Utilize project management and communication skills to manage resource requirements, project workflow, and budgets.
- Prepare, coordinate, review, and present complex written and verbal materials.
- Work with various tax preparation software and online tax organizers.
- Research complex individual tax issues.
- Lead on-going change and leverage new technology.
- Develop new relationships and demonstrate success as a tax technical business advisor.
- Stay current with automation and digitization trends in the professional services industry.
- Innovate through new and existing technologies and experiment with digitization solutions.
- Utilize large, complex data sets to build models and provide insights to clients.
- Use digitization tools to optimize engagements and reduce hours.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.
- Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success as a team leader.
- Excellent technical skills and experience with reviewing individual tax returns and tax planning for partners or executives.
- Strong understanding of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and use data visualization tools.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
- Familiarity with tax preparation software and online tax organizers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google at Work.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with team members virtually.
- Strong coaching and feedback skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and leverage new technology.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
