A law firm in Dallas, TX, is actively seeking a highly qualified Senior Defense Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in general liability defense, including a broad spectrum of litigation matters such as tort, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and automobile liability.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee defense litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive analysis of applicable laws and precedents.
• Draft and prepare complex legal opinions, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements:

• Texas Bar admission is mandatory.
• Proven experience in general liability defense, demonstrating expertise in tort litigation, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and automobile liability matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
