In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial contracts and providing legal advice for Silgan Containers and its affiliates. The company is seeking a candidate with a JD from an accredited law school and at least 4 years of experience in managing commercial contracts. As a member of the legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions and provide counsel on various legal matters.

Responsibilities:

- Manage commercial contracts across various transactions
- Provide legal advice on a variety of legal matters, including employment, IP, regulatory and compliance, real estate, and litigation
- Draft, evaluate, and interpret contracts and lead contract negotiations
- Communicate and advise Silgan companies and teams on legal matters and policies
- Work effectively under pressure and collaborate with colleagues in other locations

Requirements:

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and member in good standing of at least one state bar organization
- 4+ years of experience managing commercial contracts
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and contract drafting abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with colleagues in other locations
