Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle diverse personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions and premise liability claims. They will manage all aspects of litigation, from filing petitions to attending court hearings, mediations, and trials. Additionally, they will oversee a dedicated staff and effectively manage a docket of cases.

Duties:

  • File petitions and pleadings in court
  • Engage in discovery processes, including interrogatories and requests for production of documents
  • Handle depositions of witnesses and experts
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Manage a docket of personal injury cases
  • Supervise dedicated staff members

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas
  • Experience in litigation, preferably personal injury
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
