Meta, a technology company focused on creating a safe and inclusive community, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney to join their team as an Associate General Counsel, Integrity. This role will involve providing strategic legal counseling to various teams within the company to identify and mitigate global legal risk related to technology and its impact on people's lives. The ideal candidate will have a . degree and 8+ years of counseling experience, with a focus on social technology, online platforms, e-commerce, or other related internet technologies.

Salary Information:
- $198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
- Individual pay determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location
- Compensation listed in posting reflects base salary only, additional incentives and benefits available

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Meta's response to content and other integrity legal obligations and risks globally
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Legal Department on integrity matters, assessing risk and providing legal guidance
- Act as a primary coordinating function for Legal on integrity matters, building consensus and maintaining relationships with cross-functional partners
- Support centralized governance for distributed Legal integrity subject matter experts
- Drive strategy and manage complex projects related to Meta's approach to integrity
- Partner and collaborate with product teams, global operations teams, and other lawyers to develop strategic risk management approaches
- Manage and lead critical escalations regarding integrity legal obligations and risks

Minimum Qualifications:
- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar
- 8+ years of counseling experience, including government, in-house, and/or law firm experience
- Experience advising on legal and/or regulatory issues related to social technology, online platforms, e-commerce, or other related internet technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CDA 230, the Digital Services Act, or similar international frameworks related to content
- Ability to deliver practical advice under pressure and manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
