A law firm in Morristown is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney with a strong background in corporate transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. NJ or NY Bar admission is required, with eligibility to waive into NJ.

Duties:

• Handle complex corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Oversee joint ventures, ensuring legal compliance and strategic success.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance matters.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
• Stay informed about changes in corporate laws and regulations.
• Conduct due diligence in corporate transactions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in corporate transactional matters.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• NJ or NY Bar admission with eligibility to waive into NJ.
