A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney with excellent research and writing skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior partners and administrative staff, providing legal counsel to clients, preparing legal documents, and participating in various aspects of litigation. The ideal candidate will have a Florida Bar license in good standing and at least 2 years of experience representing clients in a law firm setting.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and review documents to provide legal opinions and prepare memoranda.
• Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining appropriate courses of action.
• Prepare, review, and revise legal documents such as agreements, covenants, and resolutions.
• Monitor and report on matters affecting clients' interests.
• Draft letters, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with Firm Attorneys and clients in problem-solving, litigation strategy, and project management.
• Participate in all aspects of litigation, including factual investigation, case management, discovery, and oral advocacy.
• Adapt to new practices and procedures as the firm grows.
• Assist with general requests and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of experience representing clients in a law firm with billable hours.
• Graduation from law school with a Juris Doctorate (.) degree.
• Proficiency with legal research software (Westlaw) and case management technology.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior partners, administrative staff, and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Florida Bar license in good standing.
