Duties:

• Provide thorough assessments and practical advice for clients in the consumer collection industry.
• Advocate for clients in and out of court during the legal collection process.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and pro se parties to negotiate resolutions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Document account/file activity in compliance with firm and client policies.
• Travel to various courts in the state to handle litigation proceedings.
• Research laws, rulings, and regulations to formulate legal opinions.
• Maintain client relationships through responsive communication.
• Attend continuing education to stay updated on legal changes.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in NV.
• Experience in consumer collection litigation preferred.
• Knowledge of civil litigation process and consumer protection laws.
• Superior time management skills.
• Leadership abilities to motivate others and drive results.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
