A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Traditional Labor Attorney to join their team in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will focus on traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, training and counseling clients on labor issues, and representing clients in various labor-related legal proceedings.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle union organizing campaigns, providing strategic advice and representation.
  • Train and counsel clients on traditional labor issues, including compliance with labor laws and best practices.
  • Assist in grievance arbitrations, representing clients effectively in proceedings.
  • Manage and defend against unfair labor practice charges.
  • Represent clients in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) trials, presenting cases and advocating on behalf of clients.
  • Draft and review policies to ensure they comply with labor laws and support clients' operational needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in traditional labor law matters.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials, preferably in the top 25% of the graduating class.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree.
  • Active bar membership in the state of California.

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in public speaking and presenting legal arguments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively counsel and communicate with clients.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
