Organization is seeking an Assistant Attorney General for its Special Prosecutions Division. This is a fast-paced position that involves coordinating with other highly motivated and highly skilled individuals in the Office of the Attorney General to generate solutions to issues that arise in the criminal justice field.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Advising the Special Investigations Division Special Agents in legal matters.

  • Assist or serve as Special Deputy Prosecuting Attorney throughout the State.

  • Research cases and statutes related to investigations or prosecutions.



Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Must be licensed to participate law in Arkansas.

  • Demonstrate outstanding abilities in (1) legal research, (2) writing, and (3) trial advocacy.

  • Have a track record of producing work that is thorough, accurate, and timely; and show a commitment to being a lifelong learner who is always growing in knowledge, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Prior prosecutorial experience preferred not required.



Salary:

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
