Summary:

BDO is seeking a Tax Experienced Associate in the Tax Automation & Innovation department to collaborate with clients and team members to implement tax automation tools. This role offers networking opportunities and involvement in various projects, including client engagements, proposal processes, and training and documentation development. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology, as well as 1+ years of experience with technology or tax systems. A CPA certification or experience with specific software/tools is preferred. This full-time position offers a salary range of $60,000 - $110,000 and the opportunity for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and team members to implement tax automation tools
- Network and build relationships within the organization and outside the firm
- Assess client tax departments and determine areas in need of automation
- Participate in engagements, including proposal processes, scoping, design, testing, and deployment
- Develop training and documentation for clients post-implementation
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support to clients
- Collaborate with multiple offices within the firm to assist with delivering tax solutions to clients
- Support the development of new internal tax solutions and provide consulting and training on existing processes and technologies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology preferred
- 1+ years of experience with technology or tax systems required
- CPA certification or experience with specific software/tools preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel 10-25% of the time

Salary:

- Salary range of $60,000 - $110,000
- Determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geography
