The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on M&A experience, with private equity experience considered a plus. Duties:

  • Handle various aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and closing deals.
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance matters.
  • Assist in structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve transaction objectives.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex corporate and securities law issues.
  • Draft and review corporate documents, including shareholder agreements and board resolutions.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and corporate best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in M&A transactions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with M&A matters, preferably with private equity experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Admission to the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, busy practice environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.
