Litigation Associate

Law firm Clyde & Co is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their practice based in Chicago, IL. The attorney must be admitted to practice in Missouri and can be based in St Louis, MO (working 100% remotely).

Job Responsibilities:

- Taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required
- Drafting pleadings and briefs
- Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients
- Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
- Drafting interrogatories and document demands
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
- Submitting filings to the court

Education and Experience:

- Admission to practice in Missouri is required
- Commercial litigation experience is a plus
- Asbestos/toxic tort experience is a plus
- Court room experience including motions is a plus
- Trial experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities:

- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
