A law firm in Auburn, MA, is actively seeking motivated and self-starting solo or small firm Residential and Commercial Closings to join their team. The firm is looking for candidates with 1 to 6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial closings who can bring an existing book of business to contribute to the firm's growth.

Duties:

  • Conduct residential and/or commercial property title searches and examinations.
  • Prepare legal documents for real estate transactions, including deeds, contracts, and mortgage documents.
  • Review and negotiate contracts related to property transactions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate real estate closings for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding real estate transactions.
  • Handle post-closing matters and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • A Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1 to 6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
  • An existing book of business with a proven track record of successful real estate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations in Massachusetts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload.
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and technology.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Massachusetts State Bar Association or equivalent bar association.

Skills:
