Scranton office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 1 year of experience with research and writing and conducting similar work with a personal injury law firm. The candidate will Provide legal support to the assigned partner through research, writing and case management. Will prioritize research and writing assignments to be completed. Follow up and ensure deadlines are adhered to. Draft complaints, motions, discovery motions, and briefs. Conduct depositions. Perform research and analysis, as requested. Participate in trial preparation assignments (., pre-trial memo, draft questions for witnesses, research witnesses, prepare witnesses). Draft MSJ and MILs. Develop expertise in Auto, TTX, Premise, and Prod Liability cases. Other duties as assigned Decision Making Authority. Licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania is required. Must have intermediate/advanced computer skills in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the willingness and ability to become proficient in Needles, Adobe, Westlaw and/or Lexis/Nexis, and other software as needed. Fluent in English, written and spoken, is required.
