Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax specialist with expertise in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance.

- Deliver value to clients experiencing public offerings and collaborate with external counsel, underwriters, and client executives.
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process and tax receivable agreements.
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients.
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation.

The Team:

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP.
- NFTS offers a variety of tax planning services to the largest organizations across all industries.
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) is a part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS.
- OPS professionals counsel privately-held and publicly-traded partnerships across the United States.
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, and more.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong research skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work.
- Licensed CPA, attorney, or enrolled agent preferred.
- Advanced degree (MST, JD, or LLM) preferred.
- Previous experience at Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred.
- Transaction and M&A experience preferred.
- Alteryx experience preferred.

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, and training.
- The disclosed range estimate does not include geographic differential.
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77,070 to $175,500.
- Eligibility for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
