A law firm in Austin, is seeking a dedicated Private Equity Finance Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in handling a diverse array of private equity sponsored financing transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactions, including leveraged financings, term loan and revolver facilities, cash flow and asset based loan facilities, and mezzanine credit facilities.
  • Manage closing processes for various transactions.
  • Review and draft loan documents, including commitment letters, term sheets, loan agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Prioritize borrower-side representation; experience with lender-side representation, especially private credit lenders, is desired.
  • Engage in effective verbal and written communication with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Meet deadlines and expectations while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.

 

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in the State Bar.
  • Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.
  • . degree from an accredited law school.
  • 1+ years of experience in private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions.

 

Education and Certifications:
