PayPal, a global leader in revolutionizing commerce, is seeking a Legal Counsel, Workplace Relations Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for conducting internal reviews, collaboratively resolving complex workplace conduct issues, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures while complying with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting investigations, strong communication skills, and the ability to make difficult decisions in a fair and ethical manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute investigation plans, including analyzing allegations, collecting evidence, and conducting witness interviews.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including HR and business leaders.
- Manage multiple internal reviews.
- Make objective findings and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvements.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel.
- Identify and analyze patterns and trends and recommend appropriate actions.
- Continuously learn and benchmark against best practices.
- Develop a deep understanding of PayPal's culture and values.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in investigations.
- Enthusiasm for investigations and their role in advancing PayPal's mission.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Personal integrity and respect for privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to make difficult decisions and exercise expert judgment.
- Objectivity and ability to see different perspectives.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Resilience in managing a demanding workload.
- Calm demeanor in high-stakes situations.
- Knowledge of US employment laws is a plus.
