• Job Overview:

  • The Senior Mergers And Acquisitions Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in drafting and negotiating transactional documents and will have the opportunity to work directly with clients. The position requires at least 5+ years of business and transactional experience, specifically in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and/or other complex commercial transactions.

• Duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating transactional documents related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions.
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conducting due diligence investigations and analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of legal opinions and memoranda.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

• Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of business and transactional experience, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, or complex commercial transactions.
  • High level of academic achievement from a reputable law school.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred).

• Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred).

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
  • Strong legal research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
