Tax Manager - Business Tax Services - Federal/Corporate Tax (Central Region Office Locations)

Position Summary

- Strategic and creative federal tax professional needed
- Provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to diverse client base
- Work directly with clients, manage tax engagement team, and have access to specialists
- Strong support system from firm leadership for success in role and career

What You'll Do

- Maintain and develop strong client relationships
- Advise clients on tax issues including income taxes, FTA, tax provisions, compliance, business restructuring, and controversy
- Oversee complex federal tax projects for various entities and affiliates
- Manage engagement workflow, resources, and billing
- Provide leadership and career guidance for engagement team

The Team

- Dynamic team with professionals from varying backgrounds
- Provides expertise to clients to integrate tax strategy into business operations
- Assists with global tax challenges and transforming tax department for greater impact and efficiency
- Range of services includes tax planning, compliance, controversy, and specialized services

Qualifications

- Ability to work in hybrid model with in-person work 2-3 days per week
- CPA license or other relevant accreditation required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience in virtual and/or global environment preferred
- Passion for technology and exploring new solutions
- Solid understanding of accounting for income taxes
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred
- Strong research, writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Management experience preferred
