Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) is currently seeking a full-time Ryan White Staff Attorney to join our team. Position: Ryan White Staff Attorney
Department: Legal Services of Northern Virginia
Location: Virginia (hybrid position)

Essential Functions:
- Provides advice and representation to persons living with HIV/AIDS in Virginia on all civil legal issues within LSNV priorities
- Conducts client interviews and determines level of services needed
- Travels to various LSNV offices, community partner agencies, and outreach events to meet with clients
- Develops and maintains relationships with other community-based organizations
- Presents educational presentations to Ryan White agencies and other organizations
- Ensures program and services are in compliance with grant rules and regulations
- Supports grantor reporting process on behalf of LSNV
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Must be licensed with the Virginia State Bar or have two years of practice in another state
- Interest in working with clients of every sexual orientation and gender living with HIV/AIDS
- Commitment to social justice, racial justice, and/or public interest work strongly preferred
- Experience in community engagement and advocacy preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Litigation experience preferred
- Legal aid experience preferred
- Multi-lingual (verbal and written) preferred

Compensation:
- Competitive starting salary based on legal aid pay scale ($65,000-$74,000 per year)
- Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare insurance, retirement plan, parental leave, flexible hybrid work model, student loan repayment assistance and more
- Limited statewide travel required

Travel:
- Limited statewide travel is required for this position.
