# Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager PwC is hiring a Tax Manager to join their Partner Tax Preparation Advisors (PTPA) team, a national team comprised of dedicated tax professionals who serve as trusted advisors providing tax compliance and tax planning guidance to the owners of PwC. This is a full time role with up to 20% travel. ## Job Requirements and Preferences: **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance - 4 years of experience - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master Degree - Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader - Demonstrates understanding of Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, Schedules A,B,C,D, E and year end planning - Leverages a network of internal stakeholders and external resources to meet the needs of and service a client-base of partners and principals within a global network of professional services firms - Manages and performs individual tax compliance/reviews and planning for executives, preferably for a global network of professional services firms - Utilizes firm-issued technologies, ., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc), Google at Work (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), etc. - Leverages technical skills with reviewing individual tax returns and tax planning for partners within a firm or executives, especially identifying and addressing client tax issues - Identifies a broad range of planning issues that are applicable to the partner and directs them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance - Leads and collaborates with team members virtually, including managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team - Builds and maintains robust client relationships at the executive level - Manages a team by leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust - Seeks diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation - Coaches staff, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback - Utilizes data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making - Develops a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients - Manages a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties - Simplifies complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points - Upholds the firm's code of ethics and business conduct ## Salary Information For positions based in California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State, or Washington State, please visit the following link for pay range information:
