A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney.

Job Overview:

The Mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney will handle commercial, securities, and financial services litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience litigating commercial disputes in federal and state courts and/or arbitral forums. They must possess excellent advocacy and communication skills, both oral and written and should be members of the New York State Bar.

Duties:

  • Litigate commercial, securities, and financial services disputes in federal and state courts and/or arbitral forums.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
  • Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of cases, including client communication and case strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation.
  • Significant responsibility in litigating commercial disputes in federal and state courts and/or arbitral forums.
  • Membership in the New York State Bar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with securities litigation, arbitration, and/or enforcement matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent advocacy and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
