## Internship at Organization
Organization offers law students the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks. If accepted into the program, students will be assigned to one of the Division’s sections, where they will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General.

### Benefits of Internship

* Interns will perform a full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing.
* Interns will have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activity.
* Interns will attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions and other special events.
* Interns will be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
* Interns will receive compensation for their work.

NOTE: If you are offered a position in the internship program you must complete a Confidential Background Investigation Clearance Form.

Organization offers law students the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks. This internship program provides law students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal field and to learn from highly experienced attorneys. Interns will have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activities, attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions and other special events. They will also be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year and receive compensation for their work.

To apply for the internship program, law students must submit an Internship Application, resume, legal writing sample and their most recent grade report to the appropriate recruiter. The Division conducts interviews and extends offers for positions in the program on a rolling basis. The application deadline for the Spring Session is November 15th.

The Division of Law has two locations: Employment Counseling & Labor - Trenton and Newark Office Considerations. The recruiters for each location are Philip J.
