Staff Attorney – Housing Opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri

Legal Aid is seeking a full-time staff attorney to join our Housing Team at our Central Office in Kansas City, Missouri. This position primarily focuses on providing legal assistance to low-income clients in housing matters and private landlord-tenant disputes. As a staff attorney, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in various forums, including administrative, judicial, and legislative.

Qualifications for this position include an active Missouri Bar license or eligibility for licensure in Missouri through reciprocity, computer proficiency, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a strong desire to provide high-quality legal assistance. While not required, fluency in a second language and previous courtroom experience are preferred.
