Position: Tax Senior - Nat'l Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Experience: 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
Salary Range: $77,070 to $175,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Position Summary:

- Seeking a tax specialist with experience in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients and various industries
- Responsible for refining skillset and developing cutting-edge technology for partnership tax and data analytics

Responsibilities:

- Work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that are important to them
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries such as private equity, healthcare, tech, and more
- Deliver value to clients experiencing a public offering and interact with external counsel, underwriters, and client executives
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and work with Up-C clients on an ongoing basis
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process and create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax and data analytics
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes and oversee complex tax computation projects for clients
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance various Deloitte initiatives

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Numerical-problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong research skills
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, or CFA

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience
