A law firm is seeking a 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team in Coral Gables, FL. The candidate will be responsible for providing clients with updates on their cases, communicating with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers, and representing clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. Strong negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their claims, demands, and offers
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies to negotiate settlements and agreements
• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients
• Utilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategies
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as required
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing
• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates with First Party Property Damage experience
• Proficiency in claim evaluation processes and legal principles
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
