Duties:

  • Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their claims, demands, and offers
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to negotiate settlements and agreements
  • Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients
  • Utilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategies
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as required
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing
  • 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates with First Party Property Damage experience
  • Proficiency in claim evaluation processes and legal principles
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
