The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality legal work, contributing to business development efforts, and upholding the highest ethical standards within the legal profession.

 

Job Details:

  • Produce quality legal work and meet the required billable hours to ensure excellent client services.
  • Manage business matters and contribute to business generation through both group and individual efforts.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with attorneys and clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and productively, showcasing a strong interest in advancing a career in litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Preferably, be a graduate of a Top 25 law school or a graduate in the top 10% of the graduating class from an accredited law school; positions in the law school’s premier law journal are a plus.
  • Be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Illinois, maintaining applicable license renewal and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.
  • Preferably have 3-5 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or clerking.
