A law firm in Portland is currently seeking a qualified eDiscovery Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry affiliations and excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills. Labor and employment experience is considered a plus. As an eDiscovery Associate Attorney, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing electronic discovery processes and providing legal support in litigation matters. The role requires a candidate with 3-5 years of eDiscovery experience.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research related to eDiscovery processes and staying abreast of industry developments.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to identify, collect, and preserve electronic evidence.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including discovery requests, responses, and motions.
  • Managing and coordinating the review of electronic documents and data.
  • Provided counsel on eDiscovery best practices and ensured compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participating in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings as necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery within a legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of electronic discovery processes and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with labor and employment law is a plus.
