Tax Senior - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax (West Region Office Locations)
- Salary range: $63,420 to $144,300

Position Summary:

- Join the largest growth area in the tax industry as a Tax Senior on our growing team!
- Utilize your prior experience to provide tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients.
- Assist clients with effective analysis, solution development, and implementation of their tax objectives.
- Manage client relationships by delivering tax advisory services.

Responsibilities:

- Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings.
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information for tax returns.
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff.
- Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects, including tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work within a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work you do and the clients you serve.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing tax returns.
- Experience with investment management or partnership taxation, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process.
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing to obtain: CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, CFP.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
