A law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation matters with a national and international client base.

Job Overview:

  • Practice in various phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation matters.
  • Serve a diverse client base with a national and international presence.

Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation cases, including consumer class actions, antitrust litigation, merger and acquisition litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance disputes, and real estate financing and development disputes.
  • Manage multi-district or multi-forum litigation matters.
  • Represent clients in connection with government investigations.
  • Conduct litigation procedures, including the discovery process and e-discovery.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice.
  • Solid background in complex commercial litigation.
  • Experience with litigation procedures, including discovery and e-discovery.
  • Solid background and prior experience in complex commercial litigation such as consumer class actions, antitrust litigation, merger and acquisition litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, and/or multi-district or multi-forum ;
  • Preferably experience representing clients in government investigations.
  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
  • Deposition, hearing, and oral argument experience is a plus.
