Title: Commercial Counsel, IP & Supply Chain

Location: Remote in select states

Role Description:

As Commercial Counsel, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fast-growing e-commerce platform. You will work closely with the business to provide legal guidance on commercial initiatives, handle day-to-day legal matters, and resolve disputes. You will also develop strategies to address legal issues in a business-focused manner and create processes to manage risk and enable the business to move quickly.

What you’ll do:

Negotiate and review various commercial contracts, including terms of service, warehousing and fulfillment agreements, carrier and transportation agreements, IP license agreements, and more.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure contracts meet business needs.
Stay up-to-date on industry, commercial, intellectual property, and privacy issues.
Develop internal processes to drive growth and capture new learnings.
Manage outside legal resources efficiently.
Perform additional duties as needed.

What you’ll bring to the table:

5+ years of experience in commercial transactions, either in-house or at a law firm.
Strong negotiation skills and experience with various types of commercial contracts.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and ability to self-manage and problem-solve.
Familiarity with privacy laws in the US and internationally.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Sound judgment and a sense of humor.
Juris Doctor degree and membership in at least one state bar.

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Associate General Counsel
