The Legal Center for Advocacy and Justice (LCAC) is currently seeking law students for full- or part-time legal internships during the academic year. This is a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the legal field and work closely with experienced staff members at the LCAC.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Conducting legal research, writing legal memoranda, and drafting pleadings
- Reviewing discovery and other evidence
- Obtaining records through state and federal public records laws and analyzing them
- Collecting data to inform the LCAC's litigation strategies
- Assisting with preparation for and attendance at court proceedings
- Visiting clients

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in law school
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in social justice and advocacy work
