A law firm in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Land Use Attorney to join its busy commercial real estate transactional practice. The candidate should have Bar admission and will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance on land use matters related to commercial real estate transactions.

Duties:

• Review and analyze land use regulations, zoning laws, and permitting requirements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on land use issues affecting commercial real estate projects.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary land use approvals and permits.
• Draft and negotiate land use agreements, easements, and development agreements.
• Represent clients in land use hearings, appeals, and administrative proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, consultants, and stakeholders involved in real estate projects.
• Stay updated on changes in land use regulations and laws affecting commercial real estate.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience or coursework in land use law, real estate law, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
