Position Summary:

- Deloitte Tax LLP is hiring for a Tax Senior position in the Business Tax Services practice, focusing on renewable energy clients and projects in over 150 countries and regions.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and sustainability, along with relevant experience in partnership taxation.
- This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected team of industry professionals and provide high-value tax services to some of the world's largest companies in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

- Support renewable energy client engagements and target new clients
- Advise clients on tax issues related to renewable energy projects, such as the Investment Tax Credit, Production Tax Credit, Carbon Capture Tax Credit, and Clean Hydrogen Tax Credit
- Prepare tax returns and provide advisory services related to renewable energy tax equity structures
- Maintain and develop strong internal and client relationships
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and present potential opportunities to assist clients
- Collaborate with member firms to execute work streams and identify process improvements
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of engagement deliverables
- Provide support with various internal initiatives and special tax related projects

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities in a hybrid work model
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, business administration, economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and develop relationships
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Active accreditation such as CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA or law firm experience

Salary Information:

- The disclosed range estimate is $63,420 to $144,300 and takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program is dependent on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
