Tax Senior, Investment Management – Private Wealth (Central Region Office Locations)

Position Responsibilities:

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporation, estate, and gift tax returns.
- Prepare for and assist in client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions.
- Co-locate in person 2-3 days per week as part of a hybrid work model.
- Manage projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing.
- Use Microsoft Excel and compliance software for research and writing.
- Communicate effectively and articulate conclusions, planning opportunities, and risks identified through research.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns.
- CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on the work and clients served.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Prior Big 4 experience preferred.
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents preferred.
- Strong technology, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate conclusions and planning opportunities.

Salary Information:

- The disclosed range estimate for this role is $63,420 to $126,620, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
