A law firm in Boston is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate should possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket. Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; participating in digital/virtual conference calls; participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Previous federal clerkship (preferred).
  • Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation (preferred).
  • Superior writing skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in which the firm operates.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases.
