Little Falls office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate attorney with 1-3 years of legal experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing professional legal counsel and representation for various litigation matters. Will communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Conduct legal research, prepare for, and attend meetings and/or other legal proceedings with senior attorneys. Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Render appropriate day-to-day oral and written legal advice. Research and prepare formal and informal memoranda, pleadings, trial and appellate briefs, resolutions, and legal and general correspondence. Support attorneys in preparing for hearings including witness preparation, document revision, and preparing settlement agreements. Perform other related duties as assigned. Must be Admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey. Admitted to practice Law in the State of New York a plus. Should have demonstrated proficiency in applicable computer programs (Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite).
